Since ancient times, one of the most primitive aspects in art, music and dance are the art forms known to the mankind. Music and dance are deeply ingrained in any society across the globe. In Hindu mythology the cosmic dance performance or the tandav nritya of Lord Shiva and the stories of lord Krishna dancing with Radha and Gopies are poplar myths. India has a glorious tradition of music and dance. Apart from the classical dances, there are numerous folk dances usually preformed during fairs, festivals and religious ceremonies.
